Erin Berg continues in the Carolina Volleyball Program after a stellar four years playing career as a setter with the Tar Heels. Berg led the 1998 Tar Heels to the most susscessful season in UNC history, advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. After the 1998 season, Berg became the third player in Carolina History to be named ACC Player of the Year. She was named to the All-ACC Tournament and AVCA All-District III teams, and was awarded the UNC Athletic Directors Scholar Athlete Award.

Ber owns all of UNC assist records, including career assist with 5751, career assist average with 12.56, single season assist with 1780 in 1998, and single season assit average with 13.59 also in 1998. While helping to coach the setters this fall, Berg will be completing her bachelor's degree in physical education and business.
