Totaled a season high 21 digs against Georgia Tech on Nov. 2, a total that was the fifth highest dig total of the season for any Tar Heel ... Had a total of 234 digs for the season to rank first among Carolina freshmen ... Posted an average of 2.15 digs per game to lead the all UNC freshmen ... Only Tar Heel freshmen to appear in more than 100 games.

Personal - Undecided major at Carolina. Caroline DeRoeck, a 5'9" outside hitter from Durham, NC. She helped a successful Riverside High School volleyball team to a state championship in her sophomore year, and state runner-up in her junior year. DeRoeck plays USAV for the Piedmont Sets and formerly of the Durham Hitmen. Her sister, Katy, is a freshman and a member of the Wake Forest volleyball team. Caroline is the daughter of Dan and Kathy DeRoeck.
