Mary Jones

Second-year assistant coach Mary Jones is a four-year letterwinner at Kentucky who earned All-Southeastern Conference honors as a senior. A native of Greenville, Ind., Jones served as an assistant coach during the 1990 season for the Wildcat program while completing her bachelor's degree in recreation.

In addition to being named ALL-SEC in 1989, Jones was named to the Academic All-SEC Honor Roll and SEC All-Tournament teams. Statistically, she ranks among Kentucky's all-time leaders in virtually every offensive category.

Jones serves as recruiting coordinator an primary court coach for the Tar Heels. In addition, she is the head coach for the Carolina men's volleyball club team which competes in the ACC and EIVA Club Division. Jones is an assistant director for Carolina Volleyball Camps.

Today, after four years as the head coach of Wake Forest University she is going into her second season at the Universtiy of Georgia.
