Junior Season - Named to the 1999 All-ACC second team as an outside hitter … Co-ACC Player of the Week for the week of October 11, 1999 … finished fourth in the ACC in kills per game with a 4.11 average … led Carolina in kills for the 1999 season with 485 on 1,409 attempts finished with 10+ kills 26 times and 20+ kills seven times in 1999 recorded a double-double (kills and digs) 17 times in 1999 … third on the Tar Heels in digs with 315 for the season … had a career high 27 kills twice during the 1999 season, vs. Wake Forest on 11/5/99 and vs. Clemson on 10/22/99 … also had career highs with 86 attempts and 22 digs in the Clemson game on 10/22/99 … one of only three Tar Heels to play in every match.
Sophomore Season - One of four Carolina players to play in every match ... led the team with 486 kills and 1,279 attempts ... was second on the team in digs finishing with 312 ... had a career high and team high 26 kills against Notre Dame Oct. 18 ... had a double -double (kills and digs) 11 times including having 11 digs and 16 kills in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Oral Roberts ... also had a career high 5 block assists in the first round NCAA Tournament game against Pepperdine ... finished with 10+ kills in 24 matches.
Freshman Season - One of the standout freshmen on the 1997 squad ... participated in 52 games over 23 matches ... reached the 10+ kills mark three times ... had a season-high 11 kills against Georgia Tech, 10/24 ... recorded the highest attacking percentage (.156) of the 1997 freshman class ... had 14 digs in a win over N.C. State, 10/14.
High School - Three-time all-state selection at Woodward Academy ... Georgia Gatorade Circle of Champions state player-of-the-year in both 1995 and 1996 ... GHSA state player-of-the-year as a senior ... alternate on the U.S. Youth National Team ... played on U.S. Elite All-Star Team that traveled to Europe for 20 days in the summer of 1996 to play volleyball ... also played basketball and soccer as a freshman.
